You are doing great! It is a win if you had lemon water or tried 4-7-8 breathing. It's ok if your Day 1 starts today. You are in charge of your health and this is a guide to help you on that journey.
Intention | Move the lymph to help detoxify
Your body has built-in detoxification pathways which consist of the liver, gastrointestinal tract, skin, lungs, and kidneys are constantly processing and eliminating toxins. The Lymphatic system is responsible for filtration, and immunity. When these systems are supported, the body can clear harmful substances more effectively, lowering inflammation and restoring balance. Supporting detoxification should be supported on a regular basis. Add, Detox Tea, Detox Smoothie, and Dry Skin Brushing (instructions below) to the routine.
CHECKLIST FOR DAY 2
Morning Checklist
Lemon water (warm if possible) squeeze ½ a lemon into 8 ounces of water before coffee
Licorice tea (avoid if high blood pressure; stop by 2 PM)
Breakfast: Detox Smoothie (recipe below)
Movement: 20–45 minutes (walk, strength, or mobility)
Hydration: DETOX TEA (Milk Thistle or Dandelion Tea), lemon water, Celtic Sea Salt - anytime of day
LUNCH: keep it simple, salads, soups, leftover dinner

Dinner: HUGO’s Tacos (in recipes)
Continue to Let go of anything that does not serve you. Breathe out the old thoughts and breathe in space for new growth. Breathe in for 4, hold for 7, breathe out for 8.
Skin brushing before bed

Keep in mind you can eat anything for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as long as you avoid alcohol, sugar, ultra-processed foods, dairy, and wheat. The sample menu and recipe book I sent yesterday should be helpful for ideas. Breakfast should be protein, greens, and low-sugar fruit. I recommend avoiding oatmeal which is not protein forward.
Tomorrow:
Breakfast: Veggie hash: Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes. Topped with an egg
Lunch: leftovers from dinner
Dinner: Mediterranean Fish in parchment paper
GREEN DETOX SMOOTHIE
small handful of parsley
2 handfuls of spinach
1/2 cucumber
½ apple
½ banana
1 lemon peeled
2 tablespoons of hemp seeds (do not use whey or pea protein for now)
½ inch of ginger
unsweetened almond milk or water
Skin Brushing: Dry skin brushing stimulates your lymphatic system, improves circulation and helps in detoxification.
How to: Use a natural bristle brush or natural dry sponge. Apply gentle pressure and brush your skin starting on your arms or legs, brush toward your left clavical where the lymphatic system drains. This is not an exfoliation and should not be done in the bath or shower. Skin brushing before bed or first thing in the morning is best.

Question from yesterday:
1. How do I get rid of sugar? You can eliminate sugar completely or you can start with cutting back to half the amount of sugar you normally eat, then cut that in half again a week later. Honey would be a nice substitute, but it is still sugar. This is a process and bringing awareness to cravings is important.
