ABOUT DR. KENNEY
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I strive to be a compassionate, empathetic, and encouraging partner in my patients’ pursuit of health and wellness.
In 2004, I received a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon, the oldest and one of the most respected accredited naturopathic medical schools in the country. At that time, I also was awarded an additional Certificate in Homeopathic Medicine. I am a board certified and licensed Naturopathic Physicians by the Connecticut State Board of Naturopathic Examiners. I'm a member of the Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association (CNPA) and Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP). Prior to moving to Connecticut, I practiced within several multi-disciplinary practices, FirstHealth of Andover, in Massachusetts and Sakura Natural Health, in Texas.
My passion for Naturopathic Medicine started with my own health and continued with my family's health. In my twenty's, I had several health conditions that were persistent despite traditional medicine treatment. It impaired my wellbeing and quality of life. Seeking wellness, I found a Naturopathic Physician and it changed my life significantly. After several months, I was thriving instead of surviving. At that point, I decided to utilize my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology, which included pre med requisites, and attended naturopathic medical school. My passion is to help others achieve their health goals. In addition to my own health challenges, several members of my family have suffered from Cancer, Lyme Disease and autoimmune illnesses. Taking the time strengthen their vitality and determine the root cause of their illnesses, made all the difference in their road to health and recovery.

"Dr. Kenney cares deeply about her patients. Whether I am seeing her for an issue with my own health or my son’s I know that she will take great care. I know that when I call Dr. Kenney, I will be heard. She checks in regularly and is agile enough to make changes if need be. One thing that always strikes me is that she trusts my version of the story - she really believes that her patients know their own bodies. When it comes to my health, I find this really affirming and empowering." L.T.
"Our 6-year-old son has been a patient of Dr. Jill Kenney throughout his life. She has helped him with a wide range of issues. I love Dr. Kenney's holistic approach. She listens with an open mind and always thoughtfully probes for details beyond the symptoms including behavior, mood, sleep, appetite and any external factors that could be related to the issue at hand. Dr. Kenney always makes sure that I understand the why behind her recommendations and makes herself available when I have questions. She has helped our son in so many ways and we are fortunate to have her in our lives!" - B.C.
